CHRISTIAN PADILLA

Christian Padilla’s research and curatorial practice explore the relationships between art, politics and power in Latin America. His work examines how images, exhibitions and cultural institutions shape artistic narratives, construct identities and influence collective memory.

Through archival research, publications and exhibitions, he investigates the networks and tensions that have shaped the circulation and interpretation of art across borders. His interests include the cultural Cold War, the development of modern art in Latin America, and artistic responses to violence, conflict and social change.
